Spiritual Formation

True healing begins within

Focus: Retreats, recollections, and spiritual accompaniment

About This Advocacy

Through retreats, recollections, and spiritual accompaniment, SSDH nurtures faith, restores hope, and helps individuals grow closer to God. The El-Retiro Retreat House serves approximately 3,000 students annually from elementary to college level, providing spaces for silence, prayer, and encounter with the Divine Healer. Adults seeking solace and spiritual guidance are also welcomed for spiritual renewal and introspection, making El-Retiro a sanctuary for all who carry burdens too heavy to bear alone.

Key Activities

  • Retreat and recollection facilitation (3,000 students/year)

Many come to us tired and searching. In the silence of retreat, we witness something miraculous — wounds begin to heal, hope returns, and God becomes real again.
